Pets, Broken Boards and Prizes: D135's Backpack Bliss (Gallery)

Orland School District 135 held their annual Backpack Bliss, where community organizations and businesses introduced themselves to school district families.

About 2,000 people came to on Aug. 15 to find out a little more on what the area had to offer, during the annual Backpack Bliss Family Fair.

Organizations, businesses and services took residence in 54 different tables with an array of activities, including a few familiar faces from Orland Park Patch.

Attendees were able to get their face painted, pet a duck, play a quiz game and break boards.
