SMS Band Performs Under Friday Night Lights
St. Michael School Band Performs at Marist High School
On September 21st, Marist High School hosted a grade school band night. Local school bands were invited to participate in the halftime festivities and perform with the award winning Marist High School Marching Band. Students attended a group rehearsal during the week and practiced as a group before the Varsity Football Game versus Joliet Catholic. Led by St. Michael’s long-time Band Director, Glen Pawlak, the students marched with band before the game and joined other grade schools and the Marist Marching Band on the Field at halftime. The students’ performance boosted the Redhawks to a victory over Joliet Catholic!
