Pilates Reformer Group Training Offered in Orland Park

The Village of Orland Park Recreation Department is offering three sessions of Pilates Reformer Group Training, beginning March 28, May 9 and June 20. Pilates is a non-impact, full-body exercise that works the deep, intrinsic muscles of the core and helps coordinate mind, body and breath. The exercises are performed on mats or specialized equipment to strengthen muscles and flexibility and to improve coordination. New participants are required to take an introductory class or five private classes before enrolling. Open to those age fourteen and older, Orland Park’s Pilates programs are held at the village’s Sportsplex, 11351 West 159th Street. Village residents pay $85. Non-residents pay $128 and Sportsplex members pay $80. For more information, call 708/645-PLAY.
