Toy Box Connection, a nonprofit organization located in Orland Park that connects children in need with the gift of a toy, is hosting its first charity golf outing at 8am Sept. 14 at Silver Lake Country Club. Cost is $125 per person, and golfers can register individually or as a foursome. Along with 18 holes of golf with a cart, the event will include a continental breakfast, BBQ lunch and beverages on the course, a steak dinner, raffle prizes and contests.
