Marist Cheerleaders Advance to Final Round at State
Wish good luck to your Marist High School cheerleaders, who advanced to the final round of IHSA state competition Saturday, Feb. 8.
Marish High School cheerleaders will compete Saturday in the final round of the IHSA state competition at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington. The team finished fourth in a field of 25 competitors in the large division in the preliminary round. Top 10 teams advanced.
There were 100 total teams competing at the state meet in divisions coed, small, medium and large from across Illinois.
The Marist varsity team is slated to perform at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The competitions can be viewed live throughout the day online on the IHSA TV website.
