Rizza's McMillan Coughs up the Dough for Pioneers, Sandburg Football

Programs benefit from fund-raising efforts at Gridiron Golf Classic.

In football, you never want to cough it up unless, of course, you're working behind the scenes to help a worthy cause.

Such was the case during a brief ceremony between quarters at Sandburg's football game Friday night in Orland Park. Dan McMillan, chief financial officer of Rizzacars.com, was on hand to cough up a check for $1,500 to Pioneers in Pink.

Another check in the sum of $12,500 was presented to Sandburg High School principal Debbie Boniface and athletic director Bruce Scheidegger for the Eagles football program. The money was raised at the Gridiron Golf Classic.
