Sandburg Grad Schofield Described as Having NFL Potential

Michael Schofield will be playing Saturday in the Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

University of Michigan offensive tackle Michael Schofield will be playing Saturday in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, often thought of as college football’s all star game.

Schofield, a Carl Sandburg High School alum, was described as impressing people with his performance during drills leading up to the game on NFL.com.

“I think he has the potential to be a starting right tackle," said NFL Media draft expert Mike Maycock.

Reese’s Senior Bowl will be played 3 p.m. Saturday and can be seen on the NFL network.
