Worst Roommate? Craziest Prank? Blackhawks Ben Smith Tells All
The Chicago Blackhawks right wing dished about his teammates and the trouble they can cause one another Wednesday at Oak Forest's Blarney Stone Pub.
Chicago Blackhawks right wing Ben Smith stopped by the Blarney Stone Pub on Wednesday night to sign autographs and field questions from fans.
Some asked about Smith's personal history, such as how old he was when he started playing hockey (5). Others wanted to know about his teammates, like who would be the worst Blackhawks roommate on road trips (Brandon Bollig, because he's an "alpha male"; Smith doesn't have to room with teammates on the road).
But WSCR-AM (670) radio personality Connor McKnight asked the toughest question Wednesday, Jan. 16: What kind of pranks do the Blackhawks play on one another on road trips?
Although he wouldn't give too many details, Smith said the current team's pranks were pretty tame compared to past years.
