“Orland Park’s Got Talent” Semi-Finalists to Perform- Field Narrows to Fifteen to Perform at Taste of Orland Park

ORLAND PARK, IL – The stage is set for the semi-final competition for the newest addition to the Taste of Orland Park, “Orland Park’s Got Talent.”

On Thursday, July 26, judges will choose the fifteen finalists to move onto the next level of competition. The semi-finals begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 South Ravinia Avenue, and are open to the public.

“We had a pretty good response for this being the first ‘Orland Park’s Got Talent’ competition,” said Frann Carnivele-Sidlow, the village’s resident theatre director who is overseeing the contest. “We have a good mix of entertainment with bands, soloists, other performers and even a poet,” she said, “Everyone is invited to come enjoy some great local talent.”

Semi-finalists will be rated by judges and audience participation with the final fifteen moving onto the final round to be held at the Taste of Orland Park on August 5. The top three winners on August 5 will receive gift cards for $500 for first place; $300 for second place and $200 for third place.

The Village of Orland Park will host its annual Taste of Orland Park weekend August 3, 4 and 5 at the Orland Park Village Center, 14700 South Ravinia Avenue. The fest features seventeen Orland Park restaurants, live entertainment on two stages, children’s activities, community groups, Kids’ Day on Saturday and a classic car show on Sunday.
