Orland Park Lions Collecting for Central Illinois Tornado Victims

The Orland Park Lions Club asked that we share the following information about another Orland Park group collecting for tornado victims.

ORLAND PARK, IL – The Orland Park Lions Club is loading a trailer of needed supplies for the residents of Central Illinois affected by the November 17 tornadoes.

The club will have a trailer staffed at the northwest corner of 143rd Street and LaGrange Road on Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Area residents are invited to donate new school supplies, including pens, paper, notebooks, crayons, pencils, backpacks, school pack tissues; baby formula; manual can openers; plastic food storage containers; plastic food storage bags; cleaning supplies including buckets, mops, sponges; paper towels and trash bags.

Cash donations will also be accepted as the Lions Club members will continue to shop until the trailer departs on Monday.
