Orland Park Police To Host “National Night Out”

The Orland Park Police Department will hold its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th, with this year’s observance being the village’s seventeenth. It will be a day of activities for all ages, along with opportunities to learn more about public and personal safety.

During the day on August 6th, the Police Department will hold its annual Senior Luncheon at noon at the Orland Park Civic Center. Lunch will be served followed by a brief safety presentation.

The Orland Park Civic Center parking lot, located at 147th and Ravinia Avenue, will provide the setting for Orland Park’s National Night Out evening festivities that begin at 5 p.m. on August 6th, continuing until 9 p.m. Attendees will learn more about the department’s many programs, DARE and school resource officers, bike patrol and traffic units.
