Orland Park Theatre Troupe To Hold PETER PAN Auditions

The Village of Orland Park Theatre Troupe will hold auditions for its spring musical, Peter Pan, on Sunday, January 19 and Monday, January 20.

Children’s auditions will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 19 at Orland Park’s Old Village Hall, 14413 South Beacon Avenue.  Children age six and older are invited to audition.

Adult auditions will be held Sunday, January 19 and Monday, January 20 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., also at the Old Village Hall. Call backs, if necessary, will be held Tuesday, January 21.

Everyone auditioning must be prepared to sing 16 measures of a song from the show. Comfortable clothing is recommended as those auditioning will be asked to learn and perform a dance. Prior theater experience is not required.  

If named to the cast, each participant must pay a $35 registration fee. Rehearsals will be held at the Old Village Hall February 2 through April 24 from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoons and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and Thursday evenings.

Performances are April 25, 26 and 27 in the Performing Arts Center at Carl Sandburg High School.

Peter Pan is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International. It is a musical based on the play by Sir James Barrie.
