Bridge Teen Center Celebrates Two Years With Music, Gelato (Gallery)

Supporters, participants and all around fans came to the Bridge Teen Center Saturday to celebrate the organization's two year anniversary of creating safe, fun and enriching programming for after school.

Smiles abounded at the Saturday as they celebrated their two year anniversary. The center held an open house where parents and teens could find out more about what the Bridge offers, and enjoy live music, as well as gellato and food from other area restaurants, including . 

It has been a busy two years for the community center that focuses on after school programming for teens. 

Here's what the Bridge has accomplished by the numbers:

  • Served 1,147 unique students
  • Provided 11,522 hours of free programming
  • New student membership has increased by 85 percent since January 2012
  • Served students from more than 30 school districts
  • Provided more than 600 hours of free music lessons and art programs since June of 2010
