Mayor Dan McLaughlin spoke of how it is heartwarming to come out of the offices and see visitors at Ara Pace. He thanked all of the service men and women and thanked the crowd for coming out on such a hot day in "gale-force winds" to remember what Memorial Day is really about.

The memorial at Village Hall has several large stones with names engraved on them for both the living and deceased veterans of the community. This year, 14 new names were added.
