René Romero Schuler, a Chicago-based artist, is coming to the Orland Park Public Library Friday for a showing of her work from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Romero Schuler makes canvases using layers of paint and a palette scratch technique. The results are multidimensional, striking and unique.
