Norbert Jerling Junior High School is a public school for students between sixth and eighth grade who live in the central and northern areas of Orland Park. Pam Hodgson serves as principal with Heather Conrad as assistant principal.
Named after the first District 135 superintendent, the "Home of the Jayhawks" has been a part of the school district since 1981. Students have access to Spanish and German classes, along with English, science, math and social studies. Computer literacy and homework labs are available, as are an array of arts, scholastic and athletic programs outside of class.
