Orland Park Development Services

<p>The Orland Park Development Services Department assists with the planning, design and building of new businesses and entities throughout the village. Located on the second floor of the Franklin T. Owens Village Hall, the department is broken into three divisions: <a href="http://il-orlandpark.civicplus.com/index.aspx?NID=120">planning/engineering</a>, <a href="http://il-orlandpark.civicplus.com/index.aspx?NID=35">economic development</a> and <a href="http://il-orlandpark.civicplus.com/index.aspx?nid=429">building</a>.</p> <p>The department oversaw a coordinated effort with Tinley Park to encourage area residents to buy products from local businesses, since local sales tax rates applied to out of town purchases.</p> <p>Karie Friling is the director of development services.</p>
