The Village of Orland Park Public Works Department is in charge of maintaining all infrastructure and village building projects within Orland Park. The department is broken into five divisions: administration, vehicles and equipment, utilities, streets and transportation.

"We produce a level of quality service expected by Orland residents," Public Works Director Edward Wilmes said.

Village of Orland Park Public Works Department staff are responsible for upkeep on all roads within the village. The office also maintains all village-owned vehicles, equipment and all water, sanitary and storm sewer systems. The staff run more than 400 storm water ponds, as well as the PACE Dial-A-Bus Program.
