Orland Township offers an array of services to about 102,000 residents living within the 36 square miles of Orland Park, Orland Hills, Tinley Park and unincorporated areas within its borders.

 Townships in Illinois are responsible for providing services for those in need, assessing property for local taxes and maintaining all roads and bridges that do not fall into local, state or federal coverage.

Orland Township provides a local food pantry, a highway department, assessments, services for youth and seniors and general assistance for an array of needs including finances and emergencies.  The township board meets once a month at the administrative building on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm, and frequent programs are held in the adjacent activity center.
