Stellwagen Farm

Stellwagen Farm was acquired by Orland Park as part of the Open Lands Program. Before becoming part of the program, this 60-acre farm belonged to the Stellwagen family for four generations. Established by Mathias Stellwagen in 1860, it is home to over 100 native trees, including red maple, white oak and honey locust and a reproductioin of a 1920s windmill.
