Orland Park police reports, April 27-May 4
FRIDAY, MAY 4 Lavonda M. Sykes, 24, of the 1500 block of 4th Street in Rock Island, was arrested on a warrant for retail theft. She turned herself in to the Orland Park Police Department around 12:55 p.m. THURSDAY, MAY 5 Ezell Walker Jr., 22, of the 15700 block of Marshfield in Harvey, was arrested on a warrant for retail theft. Police picked Walker up from South Holland police around 3:20 a.m. TUESDAY, MAY 1 Police were called about a car accident at the White Castle parking lot around 9:45 p.m. A car had rear-ended another car in the drive thru lane, police said. Will County has squashed a swingers club based out of a Beecher home owned by Mark Ferrari, former owner of now-defunct Mokena sports bar and restaurant The Colosseum, Chicago Tribune reports.
A swingers club operating out of the foreclosed home of a former Mokena business owner is no more, the Chicago Tribune reports. Police reportedly found a "dungeon room," sex swings and a mini-orgy room in "Club Erotica," inside the Beecher home owned by Mark Ferrari, once-owner of now-defunct The Colosseum in Mokena. Club Erotica, with the motto "If it feels good, do it," held themed sex parties with food and musical laser-light shows for about six months in the rural, cabin-style home, which was filled with taxidermied animals, records show. His last known address was in the 11900 block of Timber Edge Lane in Orland Park. Felipe Blancas-Robles, 31, is wanted on a warrant for theft. The warrant was issued on May 7, 2007, and no bond was given. Blanca-Robles’ last known address was in the 9000 block of Kennedy Court in Orland Park. Bruce J. Debauche, 25, is wanted on a warrant for criminal damage to property. The warrant was issued on March 29, 2012, and bail was set at $6,200. He was observed driving 76 mph in a 40 mph zone and was following several cars too closely, police said. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, police said. OAK LAWN — More Sex Abuse Charges Against Advocate Christ Doc Dr. Rajat Prakash, 46, of Oak Brook is facing a second accusation of fondling a patient. Following a misdemeanor battery charge that he had fondled a 32-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis while she was in a semi-conscious state, Oak Lawn police said another woman came forward a few days after the charge were filed on Feb. 15. Personnel from an Orland Fire Protection District company saw smoke around 159th Street west of Ravinia Avenue, and found an abandoned house in the 10100 block of West 159th Street was on fire around 9:20 p.m. "They were getting fuel nearby, saw something and headed to the house," Acting Chief Raymond Kay said from the scene. "The structure has been vacant for over 20 years. A lot of fire went through the roof so there was no possibility of safe entry." TUESDAY, APRIL 24 Police signaled for a car to pull over after seeing it disobey a traffic signal while driving east on 159th Street at 88th Avenue, and it stopped on the center line in the 7300 block of 159th Street around 12:45 a.m. The officer suggested the driver move to the Home Depot parking lot because of its safety compared to the median strip, according to the report. The Carl Sandburg High School freshman and baseball player was declared dead by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office Sunday night.
