Orland Park Man, 64, Dies After Wrong-Way Crash

A 64-year-old Orland Park man died Tuesday morning after the car he was driving was struck head-on by a driver going the wrong way in the 10500 block of South LaGrange Road around 3 a.m., Sun-Times Media reports.

A 64-year-old Orland Park man died Tuesday morning, after a driver going the wrong way struck his car head-on in Palos Township, Sun-Times Media reports.  The man was driving a 2002 Nissan Sentra northbound on LaGrange Road, when a 2002 GMC Denali driven by a 19-year-old man drove his car head-on into the Sentra just after 3 a.m., according to the report.  The driver of the Denali was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of LaGrange Road near the 10500 block. The northbound and southbound lanes are separated by a concrete barrier.  The Orland Park man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead. Police: Severe DUI Car Crash Caused Debris That Hit Nearby Houses

An Alsip man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center after driving off of the road, striking trees and landscaping, before coming to rest in a retention ditch off 135th Street Friday morning.

Updated, 1:52 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 An Alsip man is being treated for critical injuries Friday, after he drove off the road, destroying his car and causing debris from the car to strike nearby properties, off of 135th Street, according to police. The Orland Park Police Department was called around 3 a.m. about a single-vehicle crash on 135th Street near Partridge Lane, said Orland Park Police Commander John Keating. A 2003 Jaguar was driving west on 135th Street when it moved into the eastbound lane, before leaving the road near Partridge Lane, Keating said. The car struck several trees and landscaping, causing severe damage to the car and sending shrapnel toward nearby properties, before it came to rest in a retention ditch on the …

Orland Hills Man Injured in Early Morning Tinley Crash

Lubna Firdausi, 50, died after a two-vehicle crash at 183rd Street and 80th Avenue. A 33-year-old Orland Hills man is being questioned in the accident.

UPDATED (11:27 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2) A 50-year-old Tinley Park woman died after she was involved in a two-car accident early Sunday near the intersection of 183rd Street and 80th Avenue, according to Tinley Park Police. Orland Park Man Indicted on 14 Counts of Aggravated DUI After Fatal Accident

Matthew Senica, 25, is still in custody on $1 million bond for accident that took a nurse's life.

An Orland Park man was indicted Tuesday on 14 counts of aggravated DUI and one count of reckless homicide for his role in an accident that took the life of a nurse on her way to work. Matthew Senica, 25, of the 13700 Block of 88th Ave. was indicted by Judge Peter Felice at the Cook County Circuit Court in Bridgeview and is still in custody on a $1 million bail. He was charged July 11 with felony aggravated driving under the influence.  The nurse, 51-year-old Heidi Roseen of Lockport, was on her way to Advocate Christ Medical Center from her Lockport home, heading east on 95th Street at about 6:20 a.m. July 8 around, according to Cook County Sheriff Spokesman Frank Bilecki. Airbags Credited for Saving Life in Rollover Accident on 159th St.

Two people were taken to Christ after a collision that left car parts all over 159th Street near 84th Avenue, blocking traffic moving both ways.

Police are investigating the cause of an accident Wednesday evening that left two people injured, and two cars totaled out with debris thrown across a stretch of 159th Street. The Orland Fire Protection District was called about the crash in the 8400 block of 159th Street, near the entrance of the Mercedes dealership, just after 6 p.m. An SUV was left with heavy front damage, coming to rest on the north side of 159th Street, while a sedan also was heavily damaged and stopped on the street’s south side, Orland Fire Battalion Chief William Bonnar said. She is out of the hospital but has to stay at her grandmother's for a few months since she is not able to walk and cannot go up and down stairs. Police: Car Collision Sends Elderly Woman to Hospital with Head Injury

Three men were arrested after a Hummer crashed into another car on Harlem Avenue. Two of them fled the scene, police said.

Three young men were arrested after fleeing a car crash that sent an elderly driver to the hospital, according to an Orland Park police report. Witnesses told police that a Hummer must have been traveling 80 to 90 mph when it fish-tailed on snowy roadway in the 15200 block of Harlem Avenue and collided with a Chevy Cavalier around 5:45 a.m. on Dec. 9, 2011, police said. Paramedics transported a 70-year-old Tinley Park woman bleeding from her head to Palos Community Hospital. Due to severe front-end damage, her car door needed to be pried open, according to the report. On scene, police met Baha F. Police: Oak Forest Man Accused of Causing Fiery Crash

Police say rollover accident with five people in car was caused by man driving under the influence.

An Oak Forest man was accused of causing a fiery one-car crash while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, resulting in injuries to the driver and one of his four passengers. Cristian F. Cuellar, 22, of the 15500 block of Albert Drive in Oak Forest, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of cannabis (less than 2.5 grams), improper turn, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal transportation of alcohol, providing alcohol to a minor and driving an uninsured vehicle. Driver Still Critical After Accident On 135th

Police say alcohol may have been involved but no charges filed as of noon today.

A Romeoville man remains in critical condition after a single-vehicle accident this morning on 135th Street near Tallgrass Trail. Orland Park Police were called by several people around 3:45 this morning and found a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix off the south side of 135th Street in the 8800 block, according to a news release. The 34-year-old driver found at the scene was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn and was still listed critical as of noon today, Orland Park Police Cmdr. John Keating said.
