Tinley Park Woman in Court For Allegedly Running Over Live-in Lover
The case against a Tinley Park woman charged with driving over her boyfriend will be back in court again next month.
Some women walk all over men. Christine Meyers allegedly drove over one. Meyers, 23, appeared in court for a brief hearing Thursday morning and was scheduled to return Feb. 28. The Tinley Park woman was arrested in December after an argument with her live-in boyfriend ended with her running him over with her car, police said. Meyers was charged with aggravated domestic battery in connection with the incident that allegedly left her 21-year-old boyfriend with severe burns to his chest, back and scrotum. The scrotum burns reportedly required surgery.
