Police say a 50-year-old man phoned in a bomb threat to his ex-lover’s employer, according to a report.
A 50-year-old Chicago Ridge man who police say they found lying behind a fence is accused of calling in a bomb threat to a Palos Hills business, according to a report. Kenneth Drajin, 50, has been charged with felony disorderly conduct, Sun-Times Media reports. Authorities say he threatened his ex-girlfriend's workplace. Executive Mailing, located in the 7800 block of West 111th Street, was evacuated after receiving a threat on Monday, according to report. Investigators determined the call came from a pay phone at the Bridgeview Walmart. Security video from the Walmart location allegedly showed Drajin making a call. Police found him by a fence in the 10500 block of South Harlem.

A fight between two families led to a disorderly conduct charge for a Tinley Park man, according to a report.
A 40-year-old Tinley Park man threatened to kill an Orland Park couple in front of officers, police said. James J. Lewis, 40, of the 7500 block of West 161st Place, Tinley Park, is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, according to an Orland Park police report. He is due on May 22 in Bridgeview court. Police found Lewis yelling and clenching his fists at about 8:43 p.m. on April 10 near the 7600 block of Ponderosa Court, according to the report. He repeatedly said he was "going to kill" the couple. Additional officers were called to calm Lewis down. A 29-year-old Orland Park man was hit with two jolts of a Taser after hitting a police officer trying to arrest him, police said. Maurice Williams, 29, of the 18100 block of Imperial Lane in Orland Park, was charged with felony aggravated battery to a police office, three counts of resisting a police officer and disorderly conduct, according to an Orland Park police report. Officers were called at about 2:10 a.m. on March 9 to a home in the 18100 block of Imperial Lane, according to police. A Glenwood man was asked repeatedly to leave Orland Square Mall after grabbing a security guard’s Segway, but stopped for a few spins around the children’s ride before leaving.
Orland Square Mall security had to prevent a Glenwood man from re-entering the mall through a loading dock, after he grabbed a security guard’s Segway and avoided guards by jumping on a Merry Go Round. On Jan. 12, the Orland Park Police Department was called about a suspicious man in a dock corridor of Orland Square Mall around 8:10 a.m., and found a man there with several security guards. Security said the man caused a disturbance and was asked to leave the mall “six or seven times,” according to the report. Security said one guard was riding a Segway scooter while on patrol, and the man grabbed the steering column for no stated reason, police said. Police credited an adult bystander on the bus for recognizing the girls’ age, and alerting police about the Orland Park man’s actions.
An Orland Park man is facing two misdemeanor charges against him, after being accused of harassing two girls on a public bus. An adult witness called the Orland Park Police Department about a man acting inappropriately toward two 13-year-old girls on a PACE bus that had just pulled into Orland Square Mall, according to a release from the police department. The caller and the two girls said the man sat near the girls while the bus was heading to the mall, and touched one on the shoulder before talking to them, according to the release. The man then tried convincing both girls to get off the bus with him before it arrived at the mall, and offered them money to do so, police said. A Chicago man banned for life from Centennial Park pool earlier this summer for allegedly touching himself inappropriately was convicted of disorderly conduct this week and sentenced to 10 days in Cook County Jail. Jorge L. Martinez, 42, of the 4500 block of West 55th Street, was convicted Wednesday by Judge Donald Havis after a bench trial at the Cook County Courthouse in Bridgeview. He was immediately taken into custody after the sentence was announced. Martinez was arrested by Orland Park police on June 24 after patrons and employees at the pool said he was touching himself inappropriately.
