PHOTO GALLERY: Fall Fest 2010

Four days of food, drink, games and music in the St. Michael Church parking lot.

Each year, the second to last weekend of September in Orland Park means Fall Fest. For four days, Saint Michael Church ushers in the Harvest Moon with food, games, rides and live music. From Thursday afternoon until Sunday night, members and non-members alike were invited to meet their neighbors, fill their bellies and dance under the stars in the church's parking lot. The weekend highlights included a chili contest on Saturday and pig and lamb roast on Sunday. The beer and music tents gathered crowds all weekend long, as did the Man Cave, a tent reserved for the baseball and football fanatics of all stripes. Hot Rocks, a Rolling Stones tribute band, gyrated Saturday night away, and Hairbangers Ball, a 1980s cover band, amped up the crowd …
