A lawyer for an Orland Park man charged with touching off a drunken wreck that claimed a nurse's life said the case may come to a conclusion next week.
A lawyer representing an Orland Park man charged with killing a nurse in a drunken crash as she drove to work last year said the case might close next week. Russell Miller, one of the attorneys for Matthew Senica, told Judge Carmen Aguilar there will be a "probable disposition" when the aggravated driving under the influence case continues Tuesday. Senica, 26, appeared earlier last week at the Bridgeview courthouse. He remains in custody at the Cook County jail. Prosecutors in the case against a 25-year-old man charged with reckless homicide for a DUI-related accident that killed a Lockport nurse said Tuesday they will be testing blood found at the scene.

A 25-year-old Orland Park man is facing one count of reckless homicide, after he was in an accident resulting in the death of a 51-year-old nurse from Lockport.
Authorities are working to reconstruct the scene of an accident last summer that killed a nurse on a her way to work, attorneys said Tuesday, Dec. 10. Matthew Senica, 25, has pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of aggravated DUI and one count of reckless homicide. He remains in custody after his bond was set at $1 million. A 51-year-old Lockport woman died after a crash at 95th Street and LaGrange Road Sunday morning, Sun Times Media reports.
An Orland Park man is accused of causing a fatal car crash Sunday morning, after speeding through a red light and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to authorities. The 25-year-old man was not named in the report by Steve Metsch for Sun Times Media. The woman, Heidi Roseen, 51, of the 16900 block of West 143rd Street, was on her way to Advocate Christ Medical Center to start her shift as a nurse in the intensive care unit.
