Police Still Looking for Leads in Nofal Murder
Authorities seek any information that could lead to those responsible for killing Orland Park businessman.
Two months after the kidnapping and death of Orland Park businessman Ibrahim Nofal, area police departments are looking for information. The 28-year-old Lockport resident and father of two was last seen on July 13 at his business, Lightning Auto, 15563 70th Ct. His brother came to the shop around 1 a.m. the following morning and found the overhead garage door open but no sign of Ibrahim, according to Orland Park Police. A light grey 1996-98 Jeep Cherokee with a luggage rack on top was seen on video surveillance from a business next to Lightning Auto, parked behind the shop around 6:30 p.m. on July 13. Police believe Nofal was in the Jeep when it left the shop parking lot. Nofal's body was found five days later in Pilcher Park in Joliet. …
