MONDAY, APRIL 8 Yonatan Lopez, 19, of the 14900 block of Hale Drive, Orland Park, was charged with possession of a felony fraudulent identification card, according to report. Lopez is accused of using a fake Illinois ID and a California birth certificate when he tried to open a bank account. Police were called at about 9:10 a.m. to the 15100 block of LaGrange Road, where Lopez was arrested. SATURDAY, APRIL 6 Katherina Chrostowska, 24, of the 7600 block of Odell Avenue, Bridgeview, and Natalia Sikon, 23, of the 7900 block of Austin Avenue, Burbank, were charged with retail theft, according to a report. A fight between two families led to a disorderly conduct charge for a Tinley Park man, according to a report.
A 40-year-old Tinley Park man threatened to kill an Orland Park couple in front of officers, police said. James J. Lewis, 40, of the 7500 block of West 161st Place, Tinley Park, is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct, according to an Orland Park police report. He is due on May 22 in Bridgeview court. Police found Lewis yelling and clenching his fists at about 8:43 p.m. on April 10 near the 7600 block of Ponderosa Court, according to the report. He repeatedly said he was "going to kill" the couple. Additional officers were called to calm Lewis down. MONDAY, APRIL 1 Cesario A. Solorsano, 44, of the 16400 block of Deer Run Drive, Lockport, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, driving without insurance and failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash, according to a report. Police were called at about 10:25 p.m. to the intersection of 179th Street and Wolf Road for a crash. Officers reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol coming from one of the drivers in the crash. Solorsano told police he took a bus to the White Sox game and was dropped off at the Metra station in Tinley Park. He was arrested after performing field sobriety tests. Update, 7:10 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. Monday, April 29 Gina Brichetto returned to an Orland Park home around 1:23 a.m. Sunday, where she was last seen Saturday night, according to Orland Park Police Commander John Keating. "She is not injured but was taken to the hospital to be seen by a doctor." Keating wrote in an email. "The woman would not tell police or her family where she has been for the past 24 hours." Ashley, 57, of the 15600 block of White Pine Court, Homer Glen, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to a report. He was stopped at about 1:39 a.m. after police observed him drifting in the roadway near Ravinia Avenue and 159th Street. Ashley spoke with slow, slurred speech and smelled strongly of alcohol. MONDAY, MARCH 25 Brandy L. Dennehy, 32, of the 2200 block of Rivendell Drive, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use, according to a report. Attorney Brad Telander received documents from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office during his second hearing representing a 22-year-old man from Orland Park, accused of taunting police on a motorcycle while videoing the escapades.
The new attorney for Justin Jachimiec collected a large stack of discovery documents from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, during the first hearing since assuming the accused “Orland Ghost Rider’s” defense. Glen Ellyn attorney Brad Telander acknowledged accepting the documents he described as “voluminous,” during a brief court hearing in Judge Joan O’Brien’s Bridgeview courtroom Tuesday. Jachimiec is accused of riding a dirt bike dangerously close to other cars on the road and Orland Park police squad cars, popping wheelies while passing and taunting police.
