Election 2012: Did Orland Choose Obama or Romney?

President Barack Obama keeps his title for the next four years, but who did Orland Park and Orland Hills choose to lead the country? We gathered precinct data to show who how our area voted.

President Barack Obama may have won the electoral votes and popular vote across the country, but in Orland Park and Orland Hills, Gov. Mitt Romney was the clear favorite, according to data from Cook and Will County clerks' offices. In Orland Township, Obama took only seven of 50 precincts with 12,620 votes, compared to 17,232 votes for Mitt Romney. A small segment of Orland Park is in Frankfort Township's 2nd Precinct, but they picked Romney as well with 540 votes compared to 330 votes for Obama, according to the Will County Clerk's Office.
