Orland Park Police Blotter: Man Caught Stealing from 4 Stores
Orland Park police reports from Dec. 31 to Jan. 4
MONDAY, DEC. 31 Davida Whatley, 31 of 14512 Vail in Dixmoor, was arrested Dec. 31 after taking four boxes of perfume without paying from Sephora at Orland Square Mall, police said. When stopped by police, Whatley was found in possession of stolen clothing from three other stores in the mall, Gap Kids, H&M and Love Culture, police said. Police said she had also been arrested in November for stealing merchandise from Macy's. She was charged with multiple counts of retail theft, possession of stolen property and criminal damage to property, and given a court date at the Bridgeview courthouse.
