The Cook County Sheriff has arrest warrants out for these accused "deadbeat dads" in the south suburbs.
Child support warrants are most often filed when a person neglects to pay child support bills, according to Cook County Sheriff's Office representatives. However, warrants may also be issued in other cases, such as when a person doesn't report to a police department to provide a required DNA sample or when he or she doesn't notify authorities of salary increases. The following child support warrants were listed by the Cook County Sheriff's Office as of Nov. 8: Larry Multon Jr., 35, has racked up $37,676.59 in child support payments. His last known address is in the 8600 block of W. 167th Street. Dewayne Parks, 39, owes $18,311.28 in child support payments. His last known address is in the 10200 blk of S. 86th Terrace in Palos Hills. …

One teenager suffered minor burns during a fire Saturday afternoon that caused significant damage to an Orland Park house.
Updated, 5:15 p.m., Sunday, June 10 About a minute after Orland firefighters were sent to take on a fire on the roof of Papa Joe’s Restaurant, a house fire was also happening Saturday afternoon. The Orland Fire Protection District was called about a fire in the bedroom of a house in the 17200 block of Brookgate Drive, in the southeast corner of town, around 1:30 p.m. Fire personnel arrived at the house about four minutes later, and could see dark smoke rising from the house, according to a release from the fire district. Three residents and a dog were at home when the fire happened. Among them was a teenage girl who suffered minor burns, according to the release. Five Indiana men were accused of felony mob action, among other charges, during a Monday afternoon court appearance. Two men who prosecutors say were targeted in the Ashford House attack were charged separately.
Bail was set Monday for five Indiana men who stood as a group in connection with a Saturday afternoon mob-style attack in Tinley Park. Two among those targeted in the attack, who officials say are associated with white supremacist organizations, were also charged. They appeared before a judge separately. Dylan J. Sutherlin, 20, Cody Lee Edward Sutherlin, 23, and Alex R. Stuck, 22, all of Bloomington, Ind.; joined Jason W. Sutherlin, 33, of Gosport, Ind.; and John S. Tinley Park Mayor Ed Zabrocki said police are looking at an anti-racism group as the source of the attack.
Tinley Park Mayor Ed Zabrocki said police believe those involved in Saturday’s mob attack inside a local restaurant came from a group called Anti-Racist Action. Zabrocki told the Chicago Tribune the police are examining the possible connection with the group and that they also believe the target of the attack was a gathering of white supremacists. The Anti-Racist Action website posted a response Saturday to Patch’s coverage of the mob-style attack at Ashford House that officials say included 15 to 18 black-clad people that targeted a specific group. NEW LENOX — A judge on Thursday denied Rodney Julun’s request to put a “gag order” on two men who could be called to testify against him during trial. Julun is accused of murdering Dwight Jones of New Lenox Township with a lamp and then enlisting David Reed and John White to rob his home and property over the next several days. The single charge against the driver of a street sweeper that a witness said caused a three-vehicle crash in Orland Park, killing a mother, father and daughter from Tinley Park, is the traffic citation. The crash is still being investigated.
A witness to a three-vehicle accident in Orland Park Sunday night that caused the death of three Tinley Park family members told police a street sweeper ran a red light at an intersection, which led to the crash. The man driving the street sweeper has been cited with disobeying a traffic control device for running the red light, Orland Park Police Commander John Keating said Thursday. “One witness saw the whole accident in its entirety and clearly stated the street sweeper disobeyed the red light, making no attempt to stop,” Keating said. “We won’t be getting into specifics of where that witness was until the accident reconstruction is complete.” Police have held off from releasing the street sweeper driver’s name pending the crash’s …
