Fake ID Used to Open Bank Account: Blotter

Orland Park police reports, April 5-8.

MONDAY, APRIL 8 Yonatan Lopez, 19, of the 14900 block of Hale Drive, Orland Park, was charged with possession of a felony fraudulent identification card, according to report. Lopez is accused of using a fake Illinois ID and a California birth certificate when he tried to open a bank account. Police were called at about 9:10 a.m. to the 15100 block of LaGrange Road, where Lopez was arrested. SATURDAY, APRIL 6 Katherina Chrostowska, 24, of the 7600 block of Odell Avenue, Bridgeview, and Natalia Sikon, 23, of the 7900 block of Austin Avenue, Burbank, were charged with retail theft, according to a report. Litter Lands Chicago Man a Marijuana Possession Charge: Blotter

Orland Park police reports, March 27 to April 1.

MONDAY, APRIL 1 Cesario A. Solorsano, 44, of the 16400 block of Deer Run Drive, Lockport, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, driving without insurance and failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash, according to a report. Police were called at about 10:25 p.m. to the intersection of 179th Street and Wolf Road for a crash. Officers reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol coming from one of the drivers in the crash. Solorsano told police he took a bus to the White Sox game and was dropped off at the Metra station in Tinley Park. He was arrested after performing field sobriety tests. SATURDAY, MARCH 23 Luke S. Harr, 23, of the 9800 block of Corboda Court in Orland Park, was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana, according to a report. He is accused of taking five controllers for a Playstation 3 video game console, valued at $319.94 in total, from Sears, 2 Orland Square Dr. During his arrest at about 8:02 p.m., police reported smelling marijuana coming from his jacket. MONDAY, MARCH 18 Dovydas Pakalniskis, 20, of the 8900 block of 147th in Orland Park, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a driving under the influence charge, according to a report. Pakalniskis’ vehicle was stopped at about 3:16 p.m. in the 15100 block of LaGrange Road for having tinted windows. Police found the outstanding warrant and arrested him. Nicholas A. Hughes, 22, of the 11600 block of Lavergne Avenue in Alsip, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 Lauren Zaragoza, 23, of the 10600 block of Avon Court in Palos Hills, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking two dresses from Sears, 2 Orland Square Dr. Police were called at about 5:17 p.m. after store employees had stopped a woman who was with Zaragoza in the store before she left. Zaragoza was called by the woman and told to return to the store with the dresses. She is due in Bridgeview court on April 12. The other woman received local ordinance violations for retail theft. SATURDAY, FEB. 23 Breanna J. Anthony, 20, of the 9300 block of South Bishop in Chicago, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of hiding a fleece suit under bags on a stroller at about 4:45 p.m. and then leaving Macy’s, 1 Orland Square Dr., without paying for it. Anthony told police she had forgotten about the suit and had intended to pay for it. Because of her record, she did not qualify for a local ordinance ticket for retail theft. TUESDAY, FEB. 19 Debra A. Gonzalez, 50, of the 8100 block of 174th Street in Tinley Park, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license and making an improper turn, according to a report. Police spoke with Gonzalez at about 6:41 p.m. at Walgreens, 7900 159th St. The officer knew Gonzalez from a prior incident and followed her as she drove away.
