UPDATE: D135, D140, D146, D230 Cancel After School Activities Due to Weather
The National Weather Service issued an advisory for what might be the biggest snowstorm this winter season, with up to six inches of snow expected and heavy winds throughout Tuesday.
Update: 12:55 p.m. Orland School District 135 is canceling all after school activities Tuesday, as a heavy winter storm continues through the area. The Champions Day Care program will still continue as scheduled. But all other after school programs, including Young Rembrants and all Orland Youth Association activities, are cancelled, according to D135 Community Relations Coordinator Tracy Marc. Kirby School District 140 has also cancelled all after school activities, according to their website. Community Consolidated School District 146 also cancelled their after school activities due to the weather, according to administration staff.
