This Week's Pet: A Perky, Playful Year-Old Cat
Looking for a cat, but not quite sold on a kitten or older cat? Petal might be the perfect match for you.
Meet Petal, a pretty little cat with a sweet temperament and a flair for fun. Petal is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair who came in as a stray in late July. She is affectionate and adventurous (we watched her leap up onto a windowsill). At 7 pounds, Petal is still a bit petite. She arrived at the shelter in as a public drop-off stray. Petal has all of her claws. She is spayed and microchipped. Contact PAWS of Tinley Park for information on how to adopt Petal or any other pet. Last week's pet Mischa is also still available. Cuddly, older cat Melissa is still looking for a home, as are plenty of other great animals.
