Kenneth Jackson, who's been charged with burglaries in Orland Park and Burr Ridge in the last year, and his uncle were suspected in 19 North Shore burglaries that took place during the two years prior to the pair's arrest in 2009.
Police charged Kenneth Jackson with three residential burglaries in Orland Park and Burr Ridge last week. But as Sergeant Marc Loftus of the Burr Ridge Police Department noted, it's only the latest chapter in a long criminal history for the 53-year-old Oak Lawn resident. "He's prolific," said Loftus, who provided links to news stories from 2009. Jackson, then 50 years old, and his then 75-year-old uncle, William Jackson, of the 1200 block of McDaniels Avenue, Highland Park, were each charged in 2009 with three felony counts of residential burglary, six felony counts of possession of burglary tools, and one felony count of possession of stolen property after they were suspected in 19 North Shore burglaries, the Highland Park News …

Kenneth N. Jackson, of Oak Lawn, was charged with two counts of residential burglary Wednesday, for incidents in Orland Park and Burr Ridge after he was charged for a separate burglary last October.
An Oak Lawn man was accused of committing residential burglaries in Orland Park and Burr Ridge between August and October, where he would enter unlocked residences and leave with tens of thousands of dollars and valuable items, according to police. Kenneth N. Jackson, 53, whose last known address is in the 9800 block of South Keeler Avenue, was charged with two Class 1 felony counts of residential burglary, according to a release from the Orland Park Police Department. One burglary happened in the first block of Longwood Drive in Burr Ridge during the overnight hours between Oct. 1 and Oct. 2, and another took place in Orland Park last August.
