About Heather
After college, Heather Blackmore began working for Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc. as an editorial assistant. Three years later, she became a paginator and freelance writer for The Star and Daily Southtown newspapers as well as Elite magazine.
Following the birth of her first daughter, Heather became a stay-at-home mom and continued to write when she had time. Following the birth of baby number two, she pursued her certification as a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener.
Today, Heather spends her days gardening, writing, learning and, most of all, mothering.
