I don't have the "hit list," but if I did I would release it. As I said before, if someone wants to send the list to me, or to another news media organization, I would gladly link to any coverage. I also don't have the alleged "write up" of the secret Palermo's meeting that was supposed to be released to the press two weeks ago. I will accept it and/or link out to any news organization that covers it. Perhaps someone is lying to you, Oak Lawn Mom.

The off-duty police officer is paid by Hooters, as Chuck E. Cheese also pays an off-duty police officer. There is no cost to taxpayers.

We were told today by the Cook County State's Attorney's office that the venue has been moved to 26th and California. We'll be sure to confirm the location as the date approaches.

tommy d, you are starting to grow on me. We called the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and were told that Mr. Vorberg's next court appearance would be taking place at 26th and California. The criminal courts building at the location was renamed after the famed Chicago defense attorney George N. Leighton. We'll check again with the state's attorney's office as the date approaches and will let our readers know.

ReplyJudges notice when neighbors show up in court. Judges pay more attention to certain cases when they see that people care. Mr. Vorberg's next court appearance is at 9 a.m. May 23, room 100 in the Leighton Criminal Courts building at 26th and California. Patch will be following the case and reporting to the community. In the meantime, the accused are innocent until proven guilty. Please be responsible with your comments.
