Crisis Center For South Suburbia Hosts Free Concert

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As part of our
mission, we want to get the word out that women do not have to suffer in
silence.

Password: Purple is about acknowledging the "secrets" behind closed
doors that hide abuse in our community. It's about opening doors for victims to
become aware of the resources available to them.

Password: Purple is about all of us becoming more aware
that our co-workers, friends, and neighbors are quietly suffering right before
our eyes. It’s about knowing the signs, asking the questions, and reaching out
to help. How will you help? Visit us on the web at www.crisisctr.org
or call 708.429.SAFE (7233) for more information.

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia’s mission is
to provide emergency
shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by
domestic violence and address the societal issues that contribute to domestic
violence.
