Mayor Dan McLaughlin made a special delivery to the United Center on Friday, June 21st to show the community’s support of the Chicago Blackhawks’ quest for the Stanley Cup.
The mayor was joined by Trustees Kathleen Fenton and Patricia Gira.

“We wanted the Blackhawks to know that they have a huge fan base that is cheering them on to victory,” said McLaughlin.

Posters with wishes of good luck and support were available for residents to sign at the Village Hall.
Hundreds of fans visited the Village Hall to sign the 30 x 50 inch posters that were hand delivered to the Blackhawks organization by the mayor.
“What a great opportunity it was to show the residents of Orland Park’s pride in the Blackhawks,” said McLaughlin. “The Blackhawks organization was very grateful for our community's show of support for the team.”
