1st Place: Kerry Nolan on behalf of mom Mary Nolan. Her entry: My mom (Mary Nolan) has been my rock for my entire life – and my sister’s, and my brother’s, and her siblings’, and my grandparents’, and her friends’, etc. Every single thing she does, she does it with her whole heart and every ounce of effort she has. My dad was very sick for a long time, and he just passed away in March. She was by his side for every treatment, surgery, all good and bad news, and every appointment he had, all while managing to raise 3 (pretty awesome) kids. Everyone that knows my mom considers her a great friend, including me. Even with the amount of hardship she has had in her life, she still manages to remain positive and fun and she is always the life of the party. These past two months have been extremely stressful, and most people would agree that no one deserves it more than this wonderful lady that I am privileged enough to call my mom. :] I hope that you agree.
