Update: Pizza Pete Wins First Round of the Patch Pizza Playoff

Pizza Pete will represent Orland Park in the battle against our neighboring towns during the next rounds of the Patch Pizza Playoff.

The time has come to pick your favorite local pizza place in Orland Park.

Choose wisely, because this perfectionist of pie will represent the village as we face off with our neighboring Patch towns in a fierce battle for slice supremacy.

Patch is on a mission to find the most loved pizza in the Southland and we need your help to select a winner. For the last couple days, you have graciously given suggestions for cheesy greatness in town on Orland Park Patch’s Facebook page.

Here's what folks had to say on our Facebook alter ego:

No brainer! Pizza Pete! Best pizza in town!

Papa Joe's is the best and they never skimp! Eat in, take out or delivery, it is the best in town.

No question...Fox's in Orland!!!! Best sausage thin crust around!

But there can be only one.

We decided to limit this competition and did not include national or regional chains and franchises. Voting will end at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5. We figured pizza is arguably more important than the big game, given who’s playing. That and we’ve already seen the commercials.

You can vote once a day, so make sure you let your friends, neighbors, family members and computer-literate pets know what’s at stake. Let’s show these other towns who really is the best. That’d be us.

While you’re at it, leave a review for your top pizza place in our vast Places Directory.
