The coaches of both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Eagles Hockey teams have selected the team captains for the 2013-14 season.

For the Varsity, Head Coach Keith Mizwicki named Adam Howey and Alex Howey as Captains.   Both are seniors and play forward.  Not only are they leading the team offensively but equally important is that they contribute on the defensive side of the puck and are among the top penalty killers in the league.  "The choice was fairly easy", stated Coach Mizwicki.  "Each possess a high level of skill combined with a strong work ethic which allows us to use them in every type of situation in a game".  While not the most outspoken, their play speaks volumes to the younger players on the team who see the versatility and attention to detail on a daily basis.

Junior Varsity Head Coach Chris Moore named Justin Frankenbach and Shaun Fox Captains, and Tony Gizzi and Kyle Kallberg as Assistant Captains.  Frankenbach and Gizzi are juniors at Sandburg, while Fox and Kallberg are sophomores.
