GALLERY: Patch’s Hands On Guide to Orland Days Part II

We tested more rides and food to point you in the right direction when you come out this weekend.

Remember when I alluded to the significance of only spinning in one direction and its ?

Yeah.

Let’s say that the more ways a ride spins, the more likely you might lose some lunch, especially if you hit the spinning rides back-to-back-to-back like some punishment gluttons.

In part II of our Hands On Guide, Patch contributors Felicitas Cortez and Nabeha Zegar, and your editor, offer our takes on a few more rides, and some more food choices. The lessons learned? Deep-fried Twinkies are as good as they sound, try to go on spinning things with an empty stomach and bring gum.

Look at the attached .pdf for a schedule of live performers, as the beer tent will be open throughout the weekend.

When: Friday, June 3rd, through Sunday, June 5th

Where: Centennial Park Metra Station Parking Lot at 10401 W. 153rd St.
