Centennial Park Aquatic Center was the site of some friendly rivalry at the Guards vs. You competition held Friday evening. Swimmers, young and old alike, showed their best water skills against the pool's roster of lifeguards competing in relay races, water slide races, tug-o-war, and an inner tube race around the Lazy River.

The competition closed with a hotly contested event: the cannonball.

is located at 15600 West Avenue, and is open noon to 8 p.m. through Labor Day. Seasonal memberships are available, as well as discounted rates for admission after 5 p.m., and guest pass packs.
