PHOTO GALLERY: Centennial Park Aquatic Center Still Cooling People Off After 20 Years

Water fun continues this summer at the Orland Park hub for lowering the temperature, no matter what happens outside.

Centennial Park Aquatic Center is celebrating its 20th year. Activities about at the park from swimming lessons to boat rental to stories by the pool. Every day is different.

Glide down the lazy river after zig zagging down a tube slide. There is a large zero depth pool for children. Lap lanes are also available for serious swimmers.  Sand volleyball courts are ready for team or two players.  Private and group swimming lessons are also available as well as pavilion rentals.

Safety is key at Centennial Park Aquatic Center as 162 lifeguards go through extensive training.  The guards are kept up with various safety drills all Summer long.
