Bonefish Grill Supporting Together We Cope Before Grand Opening

A new seafood restaurant coming to Orland Park will first open their doors for a charity dinner in support of an area non-profit.

Bonefish Grill, a Florida-based chain with over 100 seafood restaurants across the country, will be opening for regular business on Monday, Sept. 16, at 15537 S. LaGrange Road, next to Lonestar Steakhouse. On Saturday, Sept. 14, the restaurant will be holding a charity night for Together We Cope, the Tinley Park-based non-profit that assists families with temporary crises, while also running a resale shop and food pantry.

Proceeds from the sold out event will be going to Together We Cope.

“Fundraisers like this, and partners like Bonefish Grill, greatly improve our ability to assist all those who need our support in the southern suburbs,” said Together We Cope Executive Director Kathryn Staniero in a release. “Our success wouldn’t be possible without the support we receive from our community.”

The restaurant will have hired over 100 people before opening for positions within, including servers, kitchen staff, hosts and bartenders. Applications to work at the restaurant are still accepted until Sept. 16, and can be found online.

“Our partnership with Together We Cope is a first step toward building a foundation of goodwill and fostering local relationships, which we hope to continue long after we open our doors,” said Nick Kapellas, managing partner of the Orland Park restaurant, in a release.

The restaurant will open for dinner service on Monday, Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. Regular hours will be 4 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday with brunch served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
