VanderCook College of Music appoints new Trustee
Chicago, IL – Monday, November 11, 2013
Kimberly Danlow was appointed to the Board of Trustees and joined the board at the October 2013 board meeting.
Danlow is owner of a State Farm Agency located in the South Loop of Chicago. She opened an insurance and financial services boutique in 2009 with the premise that she would always educate her clients and help them to make informed decisions with their insurance and financial service needs. Her office has been successful for the last 5 years because she is passionate about making a difference in her client’s lives.
Danlow believes that education comes first and was featured on “Ask the Expert” on FOX Chicago News in July 2013 where she provided insurance and financial service information and advice. Danlow is a graduate of Indiana University, a mother, a wife, and an owner of a State Farm Agency. She is confident that she will add value to the music education arena. “It is an honor to be a part of the VanderCook tradition. My professional background will greatly contribute to impact the lives of our current and prospective students, as well as our distinguished alumni, just as I do every day with my clients,” Danlow stated. VanderCook College of Music President Dr. Charles Menghini was ecstatic with the appointment of Danlow to the Board of Trustees. He stated, “Kim brings an exciting dimension to our Board. We are very fortunate to have her join the VanderCook family.”
