A wide array of people and organizations are making their thoughts and efforts known about a slew of subjects right here on Orland Park Patch. It's easy to join the discussion.

Ann is a “a self-proclaimed Momarazzi to our area youth athletes, photographing youth sports for over eight years and sharing those photographs with parents and the media for over five years.” Check out her football pictures.

Since Arthur retired, he has written over 100 op ed pieces for the Orlando Sentinel. That’s after working as “managing editor of The Honolulu Advertiser, editor of the Hilo Hawaii Tribune-Herald, editor in chief of the National Catholic News Service in DC and Rome, editor of the New World, even a rewrite man on Hearst's Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph.”

Orland School District 135’s community relations coordinator has been posting the student and faculty efforts within the various schools. She will be moving on to Hinsdale soon, but her work will remain.

Dean has been a volunteer and committee member of Community Consolidated School District 146 since 1993, and has been on the school board since 2003. He brings his views on education, government and what happens when the two intersect.

This longtime Orland Park scribe has lived a life immersed in books and literature, and finally decided to start penning her own words. With flair, she describes the joy of snow, the irritancy of uncoordinated shoppers and the growing pains of family life.

This Orland Park resident is an experienced community organizer, a data specialist and a former adjunct professor. He has a great deal to say on all things politics in town, in the region and across the country.

Gina can often be seen riding her bike all over town, and has worked for the League of Illinois Bicyclists since 2006. With 10 years journalism under her belt, Gina writes about news and events relating to bicycling.

This group offers news from downstate and how it will affect our area from the Illinois Senate Republicans.

This former Orland School District 135 board president has a fair share to say about local and national politics, as well as other doings around town. He has written about local elections, school boards, developments and national topics.

This 15-year resident’s blog focuses on efforts to put automated external defibrillators into schools, parks, gyms and other public areas, after she lost relative Colleen O’Sullivan to a heart attack. An Orland District School District 135 board member, she writes about health issues and legislation.
