Charter Fitness Food Drive Collects Over 4,000 Food Items for Families in Need

Participating Charter Fitness locations collected over 4,000 food items from their 6th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Chicago, IL - Charter Fitness collected over 4,000 food items during its 6th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive that ran from November 1 through 19, 2012.  Non-perishable food items were collected at all participating Charter Fitness locations and benefited local charities and food banks such as the Salvation Army, the Greater Chicago Food Depository and a number of local churches.

“This was another successful year for the Charter Fitness food drive! Thank you to everyone who donated and made Thanksgiving better for local families in need." said Dan Collins, Charter Fitness’ Director of Sales.

Since its inception, Charter Fitness’ Thanksgiving Food Drive has collected over 29,000 food items for families in need.
