Carl Sandburg Sight of 23rd Annual Chamber Expo

Join us at the 23rd Annual Expo and learn about the businesses in the area.

Get to know the businesses in your community and have a little fun at the 23rd Annual Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce Community Expo.  The Expo will be held Saturday, October 13th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. at Carl Sandburg High School which is located at 13300 S. La Grange Road in Orland Park.

“The Community Expo was created to help residents learn of the products and services offered in the community,” explains Keloryn Putnam, Executive Director of the Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce.  “It benefits everyone to keep shopping dollars local.  The Expo is a great way for them to learn what is available.”

The Expo will include a morning full of entertainment and activities for the whole family.  Radio Disney and other local groups will be providing entertainment.  The Culinary Corner will return with local restaurants providing samples and the Classic Car Show will appeal to car buffs.  The ever popular Kids Fair Extraordinaire, organized by Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital, will offer fun, health related, hands-on activities for children.  A raffle will give residents the chance to purchase raffle tickets to win the prizes donated by the exhibitors.

“Come on out and spend the morning with us,” Putnam encourages.  “There will be raffle prizes, face painting and clowns and Advocate’s Kids Faire is always great fun with their many activities for the kids.  Try small food sample from our local restaurants at the Culinary Corner section and there is a Classic Car show for car buffs.  We will even have a visit from Ronald McDonald!”

There is no charge for admission to the Expo and all are welcome to attend.  For more information regarding the Expo or Chamber membership, call the Chamber office at 708-349-2972 or visit the Chamber website at www.orlandparkchamber.org.
